Empowering students to support at-risk youth through meaningful service-learning experiences
RiseTwice is partnering with local nonprofits to develop a service-learning internship for undergraduate students interested in working with vulnerable youth. Our goals for our students include:
Learn and practice non-judgmental communication and empathetic listening with youth who may have experienced trauma
Deepen understanding of systemic barriers in housing, employment, education, and their intersections with mental health
Foster interest in nonprofit leadership and develop skills for creating positive social impact
We collaborate with established nonprofits that serve vulnerable youth populations, including organizations focused on homelessness, juvenile justice, foster care, and mental health support. These partnerships ensure students receive proper guidance, supervision, and mentorship while making meaningful contributions to their communities.
The RiseTwice Volunteer Collective prepares the next generation of compassionate leaders who understand the complexities of mental health, trauma, and systemic inequality.
By connecting passionate students with at-risk youth through meaningful service opportunities, we create a ripple effect of positive change that extends far beyond individual interactions.
